We remember reading about a Japanese potter who lived near a railway station. He made very simple tea pots, inexpensive, with a lid that doubled as a cup, small enough to slip into a jacket pocket. The potter's wife kept a kettle of boiling water and loose tea ready so customers could take a cup of tea on their railway trips. Gene brought these back for our 2025 collection. 5.5" height
