We admired the Porsgrunn factory pottery from Skien, Telemark. They used some traditional as well as contemporary Norwegian folk art designs. Gene was able to use the subtle forms of Norwegian wood bools in his wheel thrown porcelain. Lucy added the rosemaling in cobalt and iron underglaze stain.
